Understanding the Problem
When Laura approached 26 Pins, her website looked functional on the surface — but under the hood, it was barely holding together. The original developers had hardcoded a custom solution that stripped WooCommerce of its core functionality, making it nearly impossible to add new courses or products without extensive developer intervention. The site hadn't even been fully pushed from staging to production, leading to broken login sessions and critical payment processing failures. Membership controls were clunky, the LMS didn't integrate well with course content, and users were experiencing redirect loops that locked them out of essential pages.

We approached the engagement as a full-scale technical rescue and transformation. This included proper production deployment to resolve staging-to-live environment issues, building a fully custom membership dashboard tailored to the business model, rebuilding the customer profile and subscription services portal, integrating a learning management system that works seamlessly with both members and non-members, developing custom APIs for SendGrid and astrological chart generation, coding a flexible permissions system to control access across future pages and courses, and resolving persistent login redirect loops.

The site is now stable, scalable, and business-ready — with an infrastructure designed to support growth. Laura can now launch new courses without needing a developer, has full control over her membership experience, and enjoys peace of mind thanks to upgraded hosting and security.
